Dan serves as the International Director of Christian Camping International, Inc., an alliance of 19 autonomous associations of Christian camps and their leaders serving 12 million campers annually.
Also President of Refueling in Flight Ministries, Dan has been involved in full-time ministry for over 35 years–most of those in Christian camping and Christian radio. Dan has also consulted with numerous Christian ministries.
Doctor of Ministry from Denver Seminary
Degrees in Theology from Dallas Seminary and Business Administration from LeTourneau University.
Adjunct professor of Christian Education at Dallas Seminary.
Author of seven books including How to Be Your Daughter’s Daddy.
Appeared on numerous TV and radio programs throughout the U.S. including “Family Life Today”.
Married to his wife Cay for over 33 years and they have a married daughter, Haley Shellito, who is attending law school at the University of Pennsylvania.
